A Life’s Work That Became the B STATE Methodology.

For more than 40 years, Mark Samuel has dedicated his work to understanding how people achieve meaningful outcomes and sustain success. His own experiences, mentors, setbacks, and successes shaped his belief that people are capable of far more when they have clarity about what they want to achieve and a reliable way to stay accountable, adapt when challenges arise, and continue moving forward.

That belief became the foundation for B STATE’s work with leaders, teams, and organizations. As he applied these principles, the methodology evolved from individual accountability to shared ownership, cross-functional leadership, and aligned execution throughout teams.

At its core is the belief that the most important outcomes are achieved through people working together and taking ownership for one another’s success.

Mark is the author of seven books on accountability, leadership, business execution, and organizational change, including the forthcoming Middle Management Miracle (Fall 2026).
